Feng Shui, as opposed to the Bagua, is to be used only in your personal space
such as your bedroom or office (unless you live alone of course). To create good
Feng Shui in your personal space, divide your room into 9 spaces. Then stand in
the middle of the room with a compass and figure out which area corresponds with
each direction. Do this on paper. You should have a 9 space grid with each direction:
N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW, and Centre. Then fill in the grid with a sketch of
your room and your personal best and worst directions. Then arrange your room
accordingly following the bedroom placement/work space rules. For example, you
want your bed and desk facing one of your four best directions. Garbage or clutter
should be in your worst directions. Success:
Sheng Qi - "creating breath" Health:
Tien Yi - "doctor from heaven" Relationship:
Nien Yen - "long life and rich children" Wisdom/Spiritual
Growth: Fu Wei - "general harmony" Frustration:
Ho Hai - "accidents and misfortune" Loss/Theft:
Wu Kwei - "five ghosts" Disease:
Liu Sha - "six killings" Total
Loss: Chue Ming - "no children or grandchildren" |
