- Any place where water is flushed away, Qi is flushed away. To avoid draining your Qi, close bathroom doors and laundry room door if possible. The kitchen is likely impossible to close off, therefore do not keep anything of personal value or important images in the kitchen.
- Also, do not keep anything of high personal value in any area where your Qi is flushed away. Qi, both positive and negative, is flushed in any area where water is flushed. Therefore, when creating the grid of your house to activate directions, ignore any areas where water is flushed and activate the same direction only in your living room. For example, if your East direction falls in the bathroom and you would like to activate this health promoting direction, activate the East area in your living room. The dining room also serves the same purpose.
- Bathrooms should be inviting and kept smelling nice. Plush, soft towels, candles, potpourri and reading material are good for bathrooms.
